Sentetik Kanabinoid Entoksikasyonuna Baðlý Aðýr Status Epileptikus

Synthetic cannabinoids are easily synthesized in the laboratory environment and the unpredictable effects of the new product can show high toxicity on organ systems.The mechanism of effects are different, so that the standard medical therapies may not be effective leading to the serious clinical consequences. 25 years old male who has several admissions to the emergency department with the synthetic cannabinod usage and who had severe status epileptics that was not responded to the standard medical therapies was presented. The convulsions were lasted after about 20 hours leading to severe cerebral edema, and resulted with serious neurologic sequela.

Savere Status Epilepticus Due to the Syntethic Cannabinoid Intoxication

Sentetik kanabinoidlerin laboratuar ortamýnda kolaylýkla sentezlenmesi sonucu ortaya çýkan yeni türevleri öngörülemeyen ve organ toksisitesi çok yüksek olabilen etkiler oluþturabilir. Etki mekanizmalarýndaki farklýlýk standart tedavilere cevapsýz aðýr klinik tablolara neden olabilir. Tekrarlayan kullanýmlarla acil baþvurularý olan 25 yaþýnda erkek hastada geliþen ve uygulanan anti-epileptik tedavilere yanýtsýz kalan aðýr status epileptics tablosunda bir vaka sunulmuþtur. Baþlangýcýndan 20 saat kadar sonra sonlanan nöbetler hastada yoðun serebral ödem geliþmesine ve tablonun aðýr nörolojik sekel ile sonlanmasýna yol açmýþtýr.
